National Park Village Park and ride is located beside Tongariro National Park World heritage Area and is home to the famous Tongariro Alpine Crossing and Whakapapa ski and board areas.
The site offers 197 parking spaces which may be booked for overnight camping, as well as 13 bookable parking sites in a gated area. Site services are state of the art with shuttle services also operating daily from the site to popular activities. Park your RV, motorhome or car securely to stay on-site or in the large parking zone and access the full amenities of the site with your Penny key.
The village itself offers a wide range of commercial accommodation activities, food & beverage and short walks nearby.
If you’re planning to stay overnight, we ask that you make a koha (contribution) of $10 per vehicleto help support the upkeep of this facility. Your payment goes directly toward maintaining and improving the site for all visitors. Please book and pay for your stay below.
