Guy Roe Reserve is located on Brett Road, Lake Rerewhakaaitu. The reserve area known as Homestead Arm is a popular location for fishing, picnics and boat access out onto the lake. Camping is allowed on some parts of the reserve and Penny is available for payment.

BBQs, picnic tables, public toilets and a boat ramp are available to the public. If you happen to take your dog, remember to keep him on his leash. Keep in mind that fires are not permitted on the reserve. The Department of Conservation has also setup camping areas further around the lake.
